The Game Changer Chronicles

Lane's
Story.

Lane is running 5km. After a heart and lung transplant, that sentence carries more weight than most people will ever know.

On December 12, 2026, Lane will complete a 5km run — his first since surgery — as both a personal milestone and a fundraising moment for the GC Access Program. We are asking our community to walk alongside him.

Every dollar raised goes directly toward funded coaching places for people who are ready — and met by the community on the rest. Lane's challenge is the anchor. The community is the campaign.

"The transplant changed everything about how I understand what the body is capable of — and what courage actually looks like."

Lane underwent a heart and lung transplant and is rebuilding not just his physical capacity, but his relationship to performance, identity, and what it means to be fully alive. The 5km run on December 12 is his statement of that.

The Access Program exists to make the Game Changer coaching experience available to individuals who are ready — and met by the community on the rest. This is not charity — it is recognition that clarity, coherence, and the capacity to live and lead well belong to anyone willing to do the work.

We are looking for people who are genuinely ready. Not ready in the sense of having things together — but ready to see clearly and engage honestly with what is present in their lives.

Readiness here does not mean having things together. It means willingness to see clearly and engage honestly with what is present.

We are looking for people for whom this work would matter — not just as self-improvement, but as something that ripples into the lives and communities around them.

Part One — About You

Q1 — Your name, age, and where you live.

Q2 — What do you do — professionally, in your community, or in your life more broadly?

Don't worry about what sounds impressive. Tell us what actually occupies your time and attention.

Q3 — What drew you to apply for the Access Program?

What was the moment, or the quiet build-up, that made you want to reach out?

Part Two — Seeing Clearly

The GC Framework: Seeing

The Game Changer Way draws a distinction between what is happening, what is expressed, what occurs, and what we make of it. These questions are an invitation to begin looking at those layers in your own life.

Q4 — Describe a situation in your life right now where you feel stuck, unclear, or that something isn't working.

Try to describe what is actually happening — not what you think about it or why.

Q5 — When you are under pressure, what patterns show up in how you respond?

Be honest. This is not about what you wish were true — it is about what you actually notice.

Q6 — What do you think you are protecting or defending in the situation you described above?

There are no wrong answers here. Often the thing we are defending is something we haven't fully named.

Part Three — Coherence & Readiness

The GC Framework: Conditions

Coherence is steadiness across changing conditions. It is not about having things together — it is about being present to what is actually here.

Q7 — On a scale of 1–10, how would you honestly rate your current level of clarity about the direction of your life? Explain your number.

Q8 — What has already shifted for you in the past 12 months — in how you see yourself, how you lead, or how you relate to pressure?

Q9 — Where do you notice the greatest misalignment between what feels true and how you are currently living or expressing?

This is not about a 'better self' you are trying to reach. It is about where distortion is most present.

Part Four — Reflective Exercise

Wholeness · The Layers Map

This is a written exercise. Set aside 20–30 minutes in a quiet place. Read each prompt and write freely — do not edit yourself as you go.

Step 1 — State: What is present in you right now, beneath all the roles you play and the things you are working on? Describe the quality of your inner experience — not what you think, but what you notice.

Step 2 — Performance: How are you currently expressing yourself in the world? Where does your expression feel aligned with what is true — and where does it feel performed or distorted?

Step 3 — Outcome: What results are currently showing up in your life — in your work, relationships, and health? Name them clearly, without interpretation.

Step 4 — Interpretation: What story do you tell about those outcomes? What do they mean about you? Be honest about the narrative you are running.

Your Layers Map — write freely across all four steps.

Part Five — Commitment & Readiness

Q10 — What would need to become clearer, steadier, or more aligned in your life for the 6 months of coaching to have been meaningful?

Think about your relationship to pressure, to leadership, to the people around you — not what you want to achieve.

Q11 — What are you willing to commit to for the duration of this program?

Think about time, honesty, follow-through, and what you might need to put aside.

Q12 — Is there anything you would want the selection panel to know about your situation that would help them understand your application fully?

Part Six — Your Goal

The Access Program is anchored to the spirit of Lane's challenge — a man who nearly lost everything and is running 5km as an act of wholeness, not performance. We ask each applicant to name a goal.

This does not need to be ambitious in scale. It needs to be real — honest, and capable of revealing your relationship to pressure, commitment, and truth. Something that would require you to grow into a clearer expression of what is already present.
